Boss up
I see life like stages of a video game…
There comes a point in time where life becomes stagnant, when we run the same routine every single day because most of us find comfort in what’s familiar. Though when you find yourself stuck in that same routine and no longer find fulfillment in it, its time to level up.
I see life like stages of a video game (story mode). First stages we’re learning what the buttons do while exploring the area, and before you know it you open a door where you have no choice but to face an environment full of challenges.
You’ll know exactly what moves to make..
Sometimes it takes multiple times to complete a level and it’s frustrating to see the same stage over and over again because you haven’t learned what that stage is trying to teach you. If you’re determined enough, you’ll keep trying despite your failures just to get to the end where its safe again, because that’s the moment when you can finally see that you’re ready to see your new mission for the next level.
We’re going to fall and fail in life with challenges and there’s no way to avoid it but to keep pushing through. If you find yourself falling back repeating your past stages, you’ll know exactly what moves to make to get right back to the highest level you left off at.
This is your game..
There’s nothing like the feeling of completing the final yet hardest stage, and becoming stronger than what you first entered the game with. This is when you use all the tools you brought from your past stages in life to use to your advantage in order to overcome the hardest of times. When you make it passed that boss stage, you’ll realize the hard work you put in to reach a new level of yourself, and are now the boss of your own game. Remember this is your game, and a challenge wouldn’t be given to you if you were not meant to complete it…cause when you boss up, its game over.

Art of Manifestation
We all have been through a time where we feel nothing seems to go our way.. or we feel that we have waited long enough for what we desire, but it seems not to come around soon enough. Some of us even, are at a standstill in life and are awaiting for some kind of breakthrough to happen in hopes to make life a little more breathable. The truth is, we have everything we need to obtain what we truly desire, you just have to look within and believe it.
We have to let go of the thought of what is absent and start believing as we have it right now. For the past couple months, I have been practicing my own manifesting routine that has brought me to a high level of spiritual growth (more than I’ve gained in years) and it has helped me look forward more positively and more excited about what life has in store for me.
On my 40 minute commute to work..
Every Monday, when I get ready for work, I think about what I want to manifest for the week, write it where its looked at everyday (in my case my calendar), and on my 40 minute commute to work, I say my manifesting statement 55 times to myself along with things I am grateful for everyday that week. After this, let it go and let it do its work. Speak and think as if we have it already, don’t wait for it because it is at that moment that we have accepted it in as reality.
One of the statements I repeat is:
“I am receiving positive opportunities in to my life right now.”
After repeating this 55 times a weekday, that’s 275 times a week, which means I’ve said this to myself over 1000 times a month. Release what you believe out in to the world and trust that it will return to you. By doing this, it has opened so many doors for me including the creation of this little space in efforts to shed some light and inspiration out there.
Recently, I have been meeting positive people who compliment my “energy”… that’s something I have never received before I started manifesting high energies and vibrations, and I would feel so enlightened every time I hear it. I used to dwell a lot in the past and let it restrict me from spiritual freedom, but I’ve come to learn that what we experience doesn’t happen to you, they happen for you. So be what you desire right now, manifest it, and enjoy it because it’s yours.

Top: Garage (here) Really comfortable and versatile bodysuit that’s really slimming.
Skirt: Nordstrom Rack (here) This piece is perfect for dressing up or down, pair this with a chunky sweater and boots for a more casual fall feel too.
Jacket: All Saints (similar here)
Heels: Valentino - These are past season, but you can still find them around pre-loved like here. My go-to shoe to give off an elegant flair, and to be comfortable.

Trending this fall surprisingly are splashes of bright colors, especially golden hues (runway looks here:glamour.com). Satin also is hot this fall, it gives off an elegant and effortless feel to your look too (runway inspirations like Off-White in Vogue.com). Leather is always a fall and winter staple, but this year, incorporate any leather piece to any outfit, whether it would be a leather skirt, pant, jacket, it definitely adds some edge to your look.
Cheers to my first post!
Hi, my name is Justine, but those who really get to know me call me Justiney. For a while now I’ve been meaning to create a space where I can share my inspirations and passions, my biggest outlet has always been through fashion, and the idea how everyday you can express a new self through style. I loved it so much that I pursued a fashion degree to learn the art and opportunities behind the fashion world and knew that this is my passion. I’ve always been a shy one when it comes to putting myself out there, and always thought, “who would even care?” Recently, I’ve been in that mentality where we do what we do to fulfill our life’s purpose where we work on discovering what life is about everyday. Life has taught me that nothing great comes from comfort zones, so take chances. Our purpose begins to unfold when you start to take charge in creating your story and truly experiencing every moment of it, even through the times that aren’t so great.. because that’s when growth and a new story begins.
One thing I always loved to do when I was a kid..
One thing I always loved to do when I was a kid was journal. I was a quiet kid who had a big imagination and loved to create my ideas on paper, whether it would be through drawing or writing. I found that when I would journal and doodle my ideas, the more I was adding to my own story filling up all the pages in blank books, and it was fun to go back to who I was in the past pages. I decided maybe I just would make this my open journal to share. We all learn from stories, so for those who care, here goes mine. Enjoy! <3

Top: Garage- (similar here) Love the backless detail on this one!
Jeans: Rag & Bone - (here) The stretch on these are amazing, almost feels like leggings. They also have a slight sheen to it giving off a leather look.
Shades: Greek Glasses - (here feel free to use my code “JUSTINE40”) These “Witch” shades give plenty of room for those big falsies!
Jacket: All Saints - (similar here) True to size, but fits like a glove once you break it in.
Bag: Valentino - (here) Always adds an elegant edge to my outfits.
Booties: Longchamp - Past season, though calf leather shoes by Longchamp are always soft and comfortable even at first wear, my favorite booties at the moment.
My style changes all the time, but in summary I enjoy wearing more classic cut pieces that give off an effortless yet feminine edge. Staples you’ll always see me in are headbands, lashes, and a well crafted bag/shoe!
