Let Go
When life seems its in pieces we try so hard to pick it up and put it back together...have you tried putting a fallen mug back together? Theres still pieces missing, it definitely doesn’t look the same and sometimes its not even functional anymore. It was sentimental, you used to miss the way it made you feel when you sipped on your tea, and it was always the first mug you reached for in the morning. Looking at it, what good is it to you now? In most cases, you glance at it and remember the exact moment watching it fall and break, the efforts you put in to building it back together, and maybe eventually noticing it collect dust.
Sometimes if things dont fit and serve you anymore its just best to let go, cherish its memories and start fresh to create new experiences and opportunities. Like the organizing guru Marie Kondo practices “Let go with gratitude”. If we keep what is meant to stay in the past along with us in the future, how then will we make room for what we’ve been really waiting for?
As of late, I’ve been receiving intuitional messages of letting go of ego and learning to work with the pieces that actually fit in to life. What used to work just doesn’t anymore, and no matter what I do, life is changing course and steering me in to a new direction..have you ever felt that? Like when you’ve been waiting out the window for your Amazon package to be delivered...everyday you wake up and check if your package is coming in today. In comparison to when you let go of that mouse clicker to receive that “delivered” page and then carry on with life, your package arrives in no time.
Its time to let go and let life happen. The moment you feel life hasn’t felt fluid or aligned theres some cracks in your mug and maybe its time to adjust, reflect and assess a new way of what will work for us now. Half of this year is over its time to purge and start fresh..before you know it, the new mug you’ve been waiting for has already been delivered and is at your door ready to serve you.
