Downloading Your Creativity

We used to scramble for more hours in a day, finding ourselves continuously busy focused on our to-do lists for the week. Life used to take over and move us to the point of exhaustion, when holding on to a moment of silence was rare for most of us.

During this time of uncertainty where our patience and peace of mind is tested, is the opportune moment to hone in to our creativity and self-reflection a day at a time. Living in quarantine for the past few weeks has definitely exercised the world’s creativity together. The bustle of what used to be our normal has silenced and we focus on the smaller things that truly matter, starting with ourselves.

Basically being handed these days of silence, we have the opportunity to take this bit of extra time to build on ourselves. The talents and skills you wanted to learn and improve when you were busy are now more readily available for you to take. I value the essence of time as it is never promised nor can it be refunded. Time gives the gift of creating memories that are unforgettable and through its lessons, shapes us to who we become in the future. Time is priceless, use it well. This temporary social halt silences how we receive opinions and judgement from society to realign the opinions and judgement within ourselves. Are we content with where we want to be and who we are? What steps can we take now to reach our dreams?

Receive this time as a period to mentally upload information on how we can learn and grow our skills to build who we desire to be. When the time finally comes to continue the life we grew familiar with, we are able to internally download all we’ve learned through this experience and introduce our new and improved version of self to the world when physical distancing is of the past. We can continue to use what we’ve learned with an enhanced sense of creativity in the future.

If we find ourselves in boredom, we have the time and flexibility to learn. Take those moments of boredom and reflect on it as time to get creative, connect, and self-improve, then suddenly you’ll find that there is really not enough time in the world for it all. There is always more room for advancement, its just a matter of how much work you want to put in to your growth.

Every day is a new opportunity to reinvent, a time to find ourselves from the noise and the building of new found dreams and visions. We are our biggest investment lets not waste this time.

What is it that you’ve always wanted to do or learn? Who is the person you dreamed of becoming? Are you ready to become the new you?
